Granby Steel Tanks, has been the leader in the manufacture and distribution of steel tanks for the storage of petroleum products since 1954.
Granby Steel Tanks, in concert with NORA, the National Oil Heat Research Alliance, advises that oil tanks should be replaced after 20 years of use. The following is an excerpt from the Guide for Quality Installation and Maintenance (p.241):
"Implement a pro-active tank replacement program. Properly manufactured, installed and maintained oil tanks should have a life expectancy of 20-30 years. While many tanks can last much longer, it's much better to replace a tank a year too early than a year too late. Like many other components of the home, the tank should also be replaced before there's a problem".
Granby Steel Tanks offers a wide range of high-quality products to the North American market – goods that respond to specific criteria of security, durability and reliability. Since we are always looking for ways to surpass our clients' requirements, our personnel pay special heed to each stage of production, from fine-tuning and nurturing product design right down to product delivery at its final destination.
